Community Service
To graduate from High School in the Province of Ontario, students are required to complete 40 hours of community service. Students may begin accumulating these hours in September of their grade nine year.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your community and gain valuable experience in areas that interest you. Not only does it feel great to get out there and help others, but your experiences may help you learn about future career interests!
Here is a copy of the form you must fill out in order to log your community service hours. It also gives you a break down of the eligible and ineligible activities for community service: Community Service Form
